Here is a good article on how the intervention of the FEDS in the AIG bailout actually resulted in a worse "deal" for the economy and for the American people.  Had they let the market correct itself, and the market players deal without federal intervention, most likely we would all be better off.

I came upon this today.  And it is downright scary.  Obama is considering bailing out the newspapers.  What!?!?  Without a doubt this has to be the worse idea I have ever heard.  The idea of the media and the government in cohoots means that all the references to a soviet or china style state socialism could actually be reality.
