I met a lefty

I had to move my seat due to computer problems last week, and someone I work with, like, but do not know well started talking.  When I asked if she watched Glenn Beck, I thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head.  She hates Fox news, and warned me not to watch it - it's all lies.  I looked at her in disbelief, then asked if she watched CNN.  She said she did, and I just started laughing.  I didn't mean it, but it was just so funny.  She said her family watches it all the time and she hates it.

I specifically asked if she's a lefty, and she said she was.  I asked if CNN covered Acorn, and she agreed they hadn't.  I asked her then why if Fox News tells all these lies, why isn't the White House correcting them on it.  She couldn't really give me an answer.

This is why America is what America is.  I may not value her choice, but I value her ability to choose what news channel she wants.

And yes, I still tease her...
