Healthcare and Heaven

Three nurses died, hoping to enter heaven. 

The first nurse knocks at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter answers and asks her what she has done in her life.  She responds that she was an army nurse. 

St. Peter invites her in.

The second nurse knocks at the gate.  St. Peter answers and asks her what she has done in her life.  She replies that she was an ER nurse. 

St. Peter invites her in.

The third nurse knocks at the gate.  St. Peter appears again and asks her, too, what she has done in her life.  She answers that she was an HMO nurse.  St. Peter ponders this for a while and then says, “Okay, you may come in – but you can only stay three days.”
