Hungry Americans

  I would like to know why the government is paying off farmers and dairies to NOT produce crops, etc..  Many of us are low income & cannot afford the high prices and, often times, poor quality of fresh produce sold in our stores. Much of it is from other countries making it not so fresh by the time consumers purchase them.  Once winter sets in, the quality goes way down and prices begin to rise higher.  I am living on less than $700. a month. I have no family or anyone else to help me out. I pay rent & utilities, leaving me with nothing left to buy needed clothes or items. I do not go out to eat, no entertainment, nothing but the barest of essentials. I don't mind this so much, but my health requires me to eat only certain items which is mainly fresh fruit & vegetables which make the cost of food much higher. I'm sure there are many worse off than me.

  All I've seen so far from Obama is throwing money around to those who have money, nice homes, vehicles, boats, vacations or whatever luxuries. Money sent to other countries when there is a disaster. What about those in this country? We have many poor who barely have a roof over their head, utilities or decent food. Why isnt Obama building our country where it is needed?
