March on Washington Racism Claims

By resetbutton - Posted on 14 September 2009

Living just out of the DC Beltway I have my fair share of access to liberal rags.  Today, the Washington Express (owned and operated by the Washington Post) had the nerve to publish an article entitled "Race Relations on Display in DC".  In the article, the author, Yamiche Alcindor, tried to draw the picture that the March on Washington was a racist event.  The author went as far as to find a couple nuts to quote that the behavior, actions, and words of the participants of the march were racist.

First and foremost I am ashamed that The Express would even print such an article.  It is disgraceful and furthermore, misleading.  I attended the March on Washington and did not see one racist sign on display or hear a racist word spoken.

Newsflash....disagreeing with, poking fun of, and being angry at someone who is African American is not racism.  Get off that pony cause it ain't fit for riding. Anyone who claims otherwise is purposefully trying to fan the ambers of a flame that is not there, and would be long extinguished if not for their behavior.
