The Hypocrisy of the Left

The political left are spittin mad right now.  And they are reverting to political tactics that they promised America they would get rid of if given power (example: the recent House vote on Joe Wilson). 

I think I know why.  This is the first time that I can remember, that the right has taken over the grass-roots movement.  The left prides themselves on being the community organizers, the grass-roots initiators, the party that organizes the people.  And right now two things are happending 1)Their grass-roots efforts and organizations are being exposed as criminal and corrupt 2)The right is turning huge numbers of normal citizens into political activists. 

And this is ticking off the left to no end.

As a result they are reaching into their bag of political weapons and bringing out what they think are their largest weapons.  They have worked over the last couple months to brand the activists on the right as everything to an "unruly mob" to "racists".  They have worked to interject the belief that not supporting their Bills discounts your individual morals and values.  And they have lashed out against figureheads of the right (Rush, Palin, Wilson, etc).

What I think the left is failing to recognize is that the public isn't buying it.  They are seeing that the grass-roots effort of the right, is what the grass-roots effort of the left would look like if they took away the corruption and abuse.  And they are seeing that the Left is just continuing a tradition of behavior that they have perfected over the last 8 years.
