Obama's Definition of No Deficit

By civic virtues - Posted on 30 September 2009

Today while I was running on the treadmill at the gym I saw a new Obama commercial for Health Care.  I tried to find in on YouTube so I could share it with you, but couldn't locate it.  Anyhow, during the commercial Obama talks about the "lies" being spread about the health care bill and then outlines his promises.  If you remember, early on, one of Obama's promises regarding the Bill was that he wouldnt sign anything that added to the national deficit.  He time and time again said his plan would be cost-neutral.  Well in the new commercial Obama's new line is "I won't sign any bill that adds to the deficit over the next 10 years."  It seems, much like his "I will create (or save) X number of jobs" all of his lines need a little astrick by them so that he can later go back and tell us what the fine print is.

It’s not going to cost a dime...just 30 million of them. Again if Obama's lips are moving, then he is lying.

The Dems will say "It's just more misinformation" being spread in the "fringe media". But it is not. It is just using vague terminology that can be changed by legalese.

Misinformation like illegal immigrants won't be included in the Health Care Bill (socialist scam), because he is planning on giving them immunity. Like saying, we won't spend over the deficit, because the Obama administration is going to change the definition of deficit to a higher number...oh lets say, a couple trillion more.

Yeah, Obama’s deficit neutral claim is based on some very optimistic cost savings assumptions.

But all of this deficit neutral talk clouds the issue.  Deficit neutral is not good enough; the government is spending twice what it takes in.  We need to cut the deficits if we plan to avoid serious long term financial decline.   We need to actually cut benefits not just keep making more promises we can’t afford.

Why are you surprised? From his first promise to the last one the man has lied. Not one promise has he kept. My grandfather always told me that if a man will lie to you, he will steal from you, and if he will steal from you, he will kill you,  therefor a lier is a potential killer. My grandfather was a pretty smart man and I am pron to believe him.
