It's hard to believe that 47% of U.S. households pay no income tax...zip, zero, nada.  I call this 'representation without taxation 'and what a sweet deal that is.  Here are U.S. citizens enjoying the bounty bestowed by our federal government and they don't pay one red cent to help pay for it.  I think that all citizens who earn an income should be required to pay a tax.  It's the pricipal of the thing.  No wonder people see tax cuts as only benefiting the wealthy...they are the only ones paying the taxes.  If everyone was required to pay taxes on earned as well as unearned income we would all be sensitive to how and what our governement was spending our money on.  What an insult to the remaing 53% of the population who carry the burden.
